＜乳児揺さぶり＞２４歳父親に猶予判決 大阪地裁堺支部（毎日新聞）

　大阪府松原市の自宅で、生後３カ月の次女を激しく揺さぶって重傷を負わせたとして、傷害罪に問われた父親の会社員、臼井昭人被告（２４）に対し、大阪地裁堺支部（竹内大明裁判官）は４日、懲役３年、執行猶予５年（求刑・懲役３年）の判決を言い渡した。竹内裁判官は「あなたにとって、これからが大変。次女は障害が確実に出ると予想される。一生かけて償って」と諭した。

　判決によると、臼井被告は昨年８月３日ごろ、自宅で当時生後３カ月だった次女の顔を平手で殴り、同６日ごろには、泣きやませるため両脇を抱えて前後に激しく揺さぶり、急性硬膜下血腫などの重傷を負わせた。次女は脳細胞が壊死（えし）し、運動機能障害や知的障害などの後遺症が避けられず、寝たきりになる可能性が高いという。

　竹内裁判官は「痛ましく、被告の刑事責任は重大だが、犯行は偶発的で、次女にどんな障害が残っても支えていく決意をしている」と執行猶予を付けた理由を説明した。【山田英之】
